The Process of Building Your New Conservatory

Ground is cleared, dug out and prepared
-
Position of dwarf walls are marked as per the plans
-
Footings are dug to a minimum depth of 900mm (approx 3ft)
- The concrete foundations are poured to a depth of 225 - 300mm and then floated
-
Drainage pipes are protected with concrete lintels
-
Outer and inner leaf of cavity wall is built
-
Aggregate is laid and compacted to a minimum of 100mm
-
Blinding screen is laid
-
Floor insulation and damp proof membrane are laid
-
Further layer of concrete to around 100mm and floor level
-
Concrete floated to be perfectly smooth
-
Cavity trays or flashing installed as per the needs of your installation

Final (insulated) dwarf wall is built to the design agreed
-
External cill is fitted, and the side frames placed
-
Structural eaves beam is fitted to the frames
-
Doorframe is fitted to the dwarf walls
-
Roof ridge and starter bars are fixed
-
Drainage including the guttering is fitted
-
Glazing bars are fitted from the eaves to the ridge
-
Glazing panels are installed
-
Sealing cladding and final finishing touches
